Rediscovering a treasure in my painting archives. 🐾 Carter, a source of inspiration for many, lost his eyes but saw into hearts. He worked with special needs and loved water. He was a big hit at animal welfare fundraisers. His story unfolded on this 12x12 oil on canvas. Grateful to capture the spirit of our furry friend who touch lives in profound ways. 🎨 #PetPortraits #HeartfeltArtistry
Note:🥲unfortunately the painting was lost in a fire. Carter has passed. I was delighted to find the the high-resolution photo to make a print for his owner.
About Linda Diane Taylor
Step into the vibrant world of Canadian artist Linda Diane Taylor and her partner, Kenny Lord! Linda has been creating art since 1985. In 2023, life took an unexpected turn for Kenny when a car hit him during a bike ride. While broken bones healed, concussion syndrome persisted. Undeterred, he embarked on a painting journey, drawing inspiration from Linda's designs. Completely self-taught, he developed his unique style. Linda's artistic journey began in the early '80s, when she painted Christmas scenes on the windows at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, BC. Encouraged by Head Nurse Sadie Harper, Linda pursued formal education at the Fraser Valley Academy of Art in 1985, learning the techniques of the old masters under the guidance of Atelier...
